I like to make a few cards together whenever I have to make one for a specific occasion. It's so much easier to do it this way and then I have a few extra for another time. Sometimes I won't stamp them and then I can choose the occasion when one pops up.
Here are a few DIY projects I decided to do for my wedding. The place cards have a poker hand attached to them. The winter cloak was made by a family member. The monogrammed fabric on the sweetheart table was actually our aisle runner reused at the reception. I painted that myself and my Mom hemmed the runner. My mom helped me sew the table runners and I created the centerpieces. The kids' bags were made to hold all kinds of snacks and toys to play with throughout the day.
I always find it hard to make a card that is more on the masculine side. This is one I made for my dad because he collects and loves lighthouses. I thought it would be perfect. I used Life is a Beach for the scene.
